IN THE HEART OF ZANTE TOWN

Yard of Taste

A hidden courtyard restaurant in the center of Zakynthos, where Greek tradition meets creative cuisine.

Our Story

Not on the main street. On purpose.

You won’t find us on the main street. Yard of Taste is tucked down a quiet side street, behind a gate that opens into a small courtyard — mismatched chairs, plants everywhere, more like someone’s garden than a restaurant.

Giota Papadopoulou started it because she wanted to cook food that’s actually good for you, without giving up on flavor. That’s still what we do — vegan and gluten-free dishes next to classic Greek ones, all made with fresh, organic ingredients.

THE YARD

A quiet corner to eat

The people behind it

It's a family thing

Mrs Giota has been cooking here since day one. These days her kids are in it too — Lefteris on the floor, making sure you’re taken care of, and Michaela behind the bar. Nothing fancy about it, just the three of them, most nights.
